’Fusion’ er en 245 m2 stor stedsspecifik fotoinstallation produceret til Nuuks Plads, Rantzausgade, Nørrebro.

Formålet med projektet er at skabe et nyt og anderledes billede af det vante byrum for beboerne ved Nuuks Plads. Via de installerede prisme-fotos opbryder og nedbryder værket visuelt byrummets grænser.

Udstillingens titel er en reference til det der sker med motivet, når man fotograferer gennem en prisme. Lyset brydes i prismen og grænserne i motivet ’fusionerer’ dvs. flyder sammen og skaber et nyt billede.

Ønsket med projektet er at bryde det vanlige billede af vores byrum for derved at vække en tanke om sammenhørighed, trods fysiske grænser og forskellige baggrunde.

'Fusion' is a 245 m2 large photo installation produced for 'Nuuk's Plads', Rantzausgade, Nørrebro.

The aim of the project is to create a new and different picture of the usual urban spaces for residents living nearby Nuuk's Square. The installed prism photos tries to visually dissolves the borders of the urban space.

The exhibition's title is a reference to what happens with the motif when photographing through a prism. The light brakes through the prism and the boundaries of the motif 'merges' and creates a new image.
The desire of the project is to dissolve the usual picture of our urban spaces in order to awaken a thought of cohesion, despite physical boundaries and different backgrounds.
